If you have any of the symptoms above, then this consultation is for you!
What we can do for you?
Dr. Patel offers virtual visits to see what we can do to help you. We start with a FREE 15 minute consultation to see if we are good for each other and if this consultation is for you! Email email@example.com to set up this free consultation. If we decide to proceed onwards these are the next steps…
1. Functional testing
After a history is taken we will decide if you need any lab testing for looking at food sensitivities or intestinal permeability.
2. Dietary recommendations
We will work together to make dietary modifications depending on the testing or through elimination. You can get a head start on this and start keeping a food journal! That way we can get started right away.
3. Supplement recommendations
Depending on the lab tests and/or symptoms that you present with, we will decide what supplements we should start with and more importantly how many! Starting with too many at the same time isn't always the best way. Everyone’s body is different :) Supplements can be purchased through Nutritional Healing Center and will be shipped to your home.
The stress of modern life, our reduced physical activity, our consumption of processed and manipulated foods, and of chemicals- including overuse of pharmaceuticals- all contribute to our decreasing resistance to disease.
What causes gastrointestinal problems?
We have a highly specialised gastrointestinal system but due to various reasons that include stress, diet, lifestyle, chemotherapy can affect the lining of our intestines. We have tight junctions throughout the GI tract and this forms a tight barrier. An unhealthy gut means these junctions are not tight anymore and these gaps in the intestinal wall allow bacteria or toxins to pass into the bloodstream. This results in gut inflammation.
